After following the Technical Mountaineering Course I have not only climbed my first high mountain but gotten an amazing overview of all the skills and techniques necessary for mountaineering. With a safety first, fun second and summit third philosophy the guides, led by Tulsi Gurung, have been able to teach me a lot and I can't wait to apply the learned skills in future expeditions!

I went for a 20 day Mountaneering Course in the Langtang valley.

Tulsi is an incredibly experienced guide with an amazing team. The logistics are all very carefully planned and the team really demonstrated their professionalism throughout the whole trip. Everything was always conducted with safety in mind.

The locations we travelled through are also stunning.

The course is very comprehensive and will cover everything you need to acquire foundational skills for mountaineering. The technical skills I learnt will prove invaluable in the coming years when I'll explore the glaciers in the alps. Tulsi is also very open to share general knowledge beyond the main topics covered in the course.

Just completed our trek to Annapurna Base Camp this week (2 pax). My first time trekking in Nepal and the journey up was like walking into a post card at times. Thanks to Himalaya Summit Club for planning the trek and making sure we had both an enjoyable and safe trek to the base camp. The Club assigned us a very experienced and reliable guide, Ganga. Not only was he able to communicate well in English, he was able to assess our mental and physical well-being during the whole trek. He provided good advices to ensure we complete our trek safely and on-time. He also kept a look out of highlights along the trek for photo-taking (e.g. langurs, mad honey hives). Most importantly, he clearly explained the route and its difficulty level to mentally prepared us before every hike. For those planning a trek to Nepal, I strongly recommend Himalaya Summit Club as they are a reliable and trusthworthy company.

Rakesh Gurung est vraiment quelqu'un à recommander !! il est gentil fun et toujours plein d'attentions pour qu'on soit en forme pendant le trek. C'est agréable que dans un lieu car c'est la montagne que je me sois sentie en totale sécurité. J'espère également recroiser un jour Buddha et qu'il soit devenu guide ou alors qu'il travaille avec les enfants comme il le souhaite.
