  • Being very well taken care of by our guide Rakesh!

I joined the Annapurna Circuit Trail with a friend who engaged the Himalaya Summit Club through Kishan for their guiding package. It was our first time in Nepal and first multiday hike. We had a really good and smooth trip, being very well taken care of by our guide Rakesh. Rakesh was very attentive to our daily physical condition, ensuring that we could comfortably make the hike for the day and also taking into consideration our preferences. Taking one day at a time and enjoying the scenery along the way, he made sure that we knew what to expect for each day of the hike. Thank you Rakesh, Umesh (our porter) and Kishan for a memorable first trip to Nepal. Hope to be back again!

  • I did the Langtang trek with them a few weeks back and it had been a great experience!

I did the Langtang trek with them a few weeks back and it had been a great experience! Our main guide was Bhabi; he was very observant of our conditions during the trek which made me feel safe. I was also impressed by their attention to detail, such as offering alternative fruit options to fellow trekkers he noticed did not eat bananas. The entire team was very hospitable (including the porters!) and I enjoyed myself very much :)

  • I recently attempted EBC and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far!!

I recently attempted EBC and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far!! I embarked on this journey with absolutely no prior planning, blindly trusting my friend- whose choice was to go with Himalaya Summit club, and it couldn’t have gone smoother, even if I had meticulously planned it! They are a bunch of extremely warm and welcoming bunch of people. Trip started off with some glitches-as expected of the flights from Lukla, but we somehow made it to the last flight tat took off for the day and hence started our journey. Bhabi was our guide for this trek, but he took care of us like family and made sure we were comfortable and was very observant of our conditions during the trek. We did run into an emergency, with getting hit with altitude sickness, and Tulsing and Bhabi took care of all the logistics and hospital arrangements. They were the best blessing we could have had in that condition. Even on return, they were such wonderful hosts. I didn’t even feel disappointed for not making it to base camp, but left Nepal feeling fortunate to have met such wonderful team. I will most definitely be returning and would recommend anyone doing treks in Nepal to book with these folks, they are the best team you can ask for! All smiles along the miles :)

  • All this allowed us to pass Kang La (5320m) and La Tilicho (5000m) and Thorung La 5416m successfully

Annapurna High Road Trek via Naar & Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake (20 days)
Great professionalism of the entire team (guides and porters) Nothing is left to chance, everything is done to ensure that your trek goes wonderfully and above all in complete safety.
Great flexibility from Kishan during the trek who is able to adapt the next day's route (distance) according to the shape of each person. All this allowed us to pass Kang La (5320m) and La Tilicho (5000m) and Thorung La 5416m successfully
Thank you all for your kindness and good humor

  • This course was based on experiential learning, with concepts and techniques taught directly in the field.

I took the 20 day mountaineering course at Tserko Peak in December alongside a separate group of college students. I had my own IFMGA certified guide for the course, but the entire group shared base camp and some of the lessons. I learned so much in this course, and it prepared me for an advanced course in climbing/rescue. My instructor, Anup Gurung, was dedicated, knowledgeable, and fun. Tulsi Gurung, also an experienced mountain guide, was there to supplement my instruction and answer any questions, technical or otherwise, that I had. The staff and Assistant Guides were awesome, friendly, and welcoming.

This course was based on experiential learning, with concepts and techniques taught directly in the field. I thought this made it a lot of fun. I learned glacier travel, fixed rope ascending and descending, ice climbing, rock climbing, and knot tying and navigation directly through experience. This course was definitely worth more than the cost, and it was the experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend it.

  • The staff was very friendly and I have a lot of confidence in their ability!
