The trekking timing and duration now will solely depend on the head guide. There might be some places where you might have to stop for a while due to weather problems. Walk on the glacier of Manaslu, and follow the bamboo marker wands. Use ropes and crampons to navigate through crevasses and dangerous sections. Camp 1 sits at a height of 5,700 meters on the bottom of the North Peak, right above the glacier.

Camp 2 sits on a flat area of 6,400 meters and you have to battle through battering winds and roaring snow to arrive here. It might take a while. The ascent from Camp 2 to Camp 3 is one of the shortest which takes just 4 hours depending on the perfect weather conditions. The route climbs the remaining part of the glacier and the climb is pretty steep. Tread carefully on the ice path to reach Camp 4 which sits at a height of 7,400 meters. Camp 4 is the final resting stop before climbing the mighty Mt. Manaslu (8,163m).

From Camp 4, we begin the ascent. Depending upon the weather conditions, the climb can take place anytime during the day. The route is separated into 3 levels, and we have to climb 3 levels before finally reaching the slope. The climb from Camp 4 to the main peak takes approximately 10 hours. From the summit, enjoy the clandestine view of the Manaslu region. After climbing the mountain, head slowly towards the Manaslu Base Camp. Overnight stays at tented camps.
