Manaslu Circuit Trek Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu (1,300m).

    Our representative will receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and he will be displaying our company signboard. You will then be transferred to your hotel and the remaining day can be spent as you please. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu. 

  • Day 2 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.

    Dwell on the many mysteries of the Kathmandu valley as you spend your day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Sitesin the city. Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath are the major destinations for the day. These sites have both religious and cultural significance while also providing the visitors an insight into Nepali culture and tradition. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 Drive to Soti Khola (710m) 5-6 hrs drive.

    Commence your journey by traveling to the rural countryside of Soti Khola. Lasting for approximately 5-6 hours, the drive provides some exquisite view of the Nepalese wilderness and after we cross the pristine rivers, we reach Arughat where we shall take a break. After observing the roaring Budi Gandaki River, we tread further to the trail that leads us to SotiKhola. Overnight stay at SotiKhola. 

  • Day 4 Trek to Machha Khola (900m) 4-5 hrs trek.

    The trail for the day involves climbing on the ridge that leads us through some beautiful Sal forests and alongside the roaring Budi Gandaki River. Observe the rice terraces, tropical waterfalls, and the dense green hills. We make a brief stop at the Lapubesi village where we can acquaint ourselves with the Gurung heritage. As we walk across the sandy riversides, we cross some bridges before finally arriving at Machha Khola. Overnight stay at Machha Khola. 

  • Day 5 Trek to Jagat (1410m) 5-6 hrs trek.

    Observe the mystery of the Manaslu Circuit Trek in the form of ups and downs that eventually lead to the natural hot springs of Tatopani. Spend some quality time there and later,we begin to climb along the ridges to Lhakpa. Continuing along the western bank of Budi Gandaki River, we arrive at the traditional settlement of Jagat. Overnight stay at Jagat. 

  • Day 6 Trek to Deng (1,860m) 5-6hrs trek.

    Marvel at the stunning vistas of the Himalayas and climb the ridges to Salleri which, later on, descends to Sirdibas. Walk on the trail that gradually leads upstream and on the way we cross the villages of Philim and Ekle Bhatti. Here, we can taste the delicacies made from the nearby millet fields. Observe the diverse change in landscape that ranges from rugged to grassy. Cross the DyangKhola to arrive at Deng. Overnight stay at Deng. 

  • Day 7 Trek to Namrung (2,630m) 6-7 hrs trek.

    Traverse the Budi Gandaki River and then climb on a trail from Bihi. Walk westwards, which leads to the valley created by the Budi Gandaki River. Walking through the route that takes us to the Prok village, we encounter numerous Gumbas. Cross the river, and take a moment to observe the beautiful gorge. Walk through the stony trail to finally reach the Namrung village. Overnight stay at Namrung. 

  • Day 8 Trek to Samagaon (3,530m) 6-7 hrs trek.

    The road to Samagaon takes us through the antique settlement of the Lho village. Scale the rugged terrain and cross the forests to reach Lihi, and later cross the valley of Simnang Himal. We can observe the Tibetan influenced lifestyle of the people at Lho village and after having lunch there, we continue on our walk along the banks of the Honang River. The long walk ends at Samagaon relishing the views of Manaslu (8,163m) and Manaslu North (7,157m). Overnight stay at Samagaon.

  • Day 9 Explore PungGyen Monastery 6-7 hrs.

    We learn more about the texts and culture of the Tibetan-Buddhism as we explore the mysteries behind the PungGyen monastery. Observe the Chorten filled monastery, and try to understand the texts written in the Mani walls. The monastery provides the astounding view of the Ganesh Himal (7,422m) and the Himchuli mountains. We can also interact with the monks residing there and understand their ascetic way of life. Overnight stay at Samagaon. 

  • Day 10 Trek to Samdo (3,860m) 4 - 5 hrs trek.

    To reach Samdo, we first descend to the Budi Gandaki River and walk on the trail that leads to Samdo. On crossing a wooden bridge, we will encounter two trails. One leads to Manaslu Base Camp, while the other leads to Larke La Pass (5,160m). We follow the trail leading to Larke La, and we pass through the forests of KermoKharka. The forests end at the Samdo. Overnight stay at Samdo. 

  • Day 11 Trek to Dharmasala/Larkya B. C. (4,460m) 4 - 5 hrs trek.

    Dharmasala is basically a resting place for travelers who are on the journey to cross the Larkya La pass. Our route involves crossing two streams, and we’ll be able to witness the Larkya glacier in all its glory. Head further to a valley and get on an uphill trail to reach the guest house called as Dharmasala. There is another trail nearby which leads us to the border of Tibet. Look north to witness the Larkya and Fukanghill ranges. Overnight stay at Dharmasala. 

  • Day 12 Cross Larkya La (5,160m) - Bimthang (3,720m) 8 - 9 hrs trek.

    The most anticipated and thrilling part of the trek awaits us today. Climb to the northern side of the Larkya Glacier, and make your way through the frozen lakes while admiring the beauty of the snowy terrain, with Larkya Peak (6,249m) being a major attraction. Jump across the boulder fields, and get on a vantage point to witness the dazzling panorama of the Himalayanranges like Kang Guru, Cheo Himal, and Himlung Himal. Take a breather, and then head on a steep descent to Bimthang. The trail sees a sharp decrease in altitude, so it is recommended to use the trekking equipment to prevent any accidents. Cross the slippery landscape to reach the Bimthang village. Overnight stay at Bimthang. 

  • Day 13 Trek to Tilije (2,300m) 5 - 6 hrs.

    Our descent continues, and we find ourselves in a huge pasture which goes by the name of Sangure Kharka. Our trail takes us along the DudhKhola, and be sure to observe rich bio-diversity along the trail. We also leave the Manaslu Conservation Area and enter the Annapurna Conservation Area.We make way through the rhododendron forests and walk out of the narrow valley. We arrive at Karte, and after crossing terraced fields we reach Tilije. Overnight stay at Tilije. 

  • Day 14 Trek to Tal (1,700m) 4 -5 hrs.

    Our route takes us across the paving stones that lead to a village. We exit the village and cross the DudhKhola. Observe the Mani walls as we arrive at Thonje. A brief security check awaits us at Dharapani, and then we walk towards Thonje. After we cross the MarsayangdiKhola, we reach the Tal village. Overnight stay at Tal. 

  • Day 15 Drive to Kathmandu.

    8-9 hrs 3 hours off road and from Besisahar will nice road. Today, we head towards Kathmandu on a private or public vehicle rewinding all the fond memories on the trek. The initial part of the drive comprises of bumpy roads and after you cross Besisahar, the road gets better and reaches Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and you can explore the markets to shop gifts and souvenirs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu. 

  • Day 16 Departure to International Airport.

    Today is the last day of the trek and our representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. Goodbye and best wishes!
