Welcome to Nepal! On reaching Tribhuvan International airport, we will be there to receive you. After then, a short drive will take you the hotel. After checking in and getting refreshed, our guide will brief you about the overall trip. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 1 Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu. (1300m)
Day 2 Day 02: Drive Kathmandu-Dhunche (1,960m) approx. 6-7 hours
After waking up early in the morning and having breakfast, we take a drive towards Dhunche today. We savor some extravagant sceneries of Trishuli valley ornamented by villages, rivers and mountains along the way. The early glimpses of snow-capped mountains along the Langtang Himalaya adds even more excitement to the whole trek. Overnight stay at Dhunche.
Day 3 Day 03: Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,720m) 5-6 hours
As soon as we finish our breakfast, we start our trek. We walk on a motorable trail for 2 hours to reach Thulo Bharkhu. Then, we take stone stairs that ascends to Tamang village. The trail then climbs to a ridge passing through forest with pine, rhododendron trees before reaching Thulo Syabru. Thulo Syabru is a charming Sherpa and Tamang village from where we enjoy the incredible perspective of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. Overnight in Thulo Syabru.
Day 4 Day 04: Trek to Shin Gompa |3,330m| 4-5 hours.
Walking along the ridges of high hills from Thulo Syabru, we reach to the top of Phulung Danda passing through the forest with oak, fir and rhododendron trees. From there, we descend downhill for a short distance to reach the ancient monastery known as the Shin Gompa. Shin Gompa is popular for Yak Cheese factory and a Buddhist monastery. Overnight stay at Shin Gompa.
Day 5 Day 05: Trek to Gosainkunda |4,380m| 6 hours
Today, we trek slowly and gradually because we gain a lot of altitude. We trek past Chandanbari to reach Lauribina village. From there, we relish the spectacular view of Ganesh Himal, Annapurna and Langtang Lirung peaks. Walking alongside the enlivening view of Himalayas, we reach the sacred and beautiful Gosainkunda Lake, first of the three glacial lakes that form a chain of such lakes. The entrance is marked by Chortens and small Shiva temples. Overnight stay at Gosainkunda.
Day 6 Day 06: Trek from Gosainkunda to Ghopte |3430m|7 hours.
We explore the sacred lake and its surrounding area before continuing with the trek. Starting the trek, we pass alongside some glacial lakes before reaching the foothills of Lauribina pass (4610m). We climb to the summit of the pass. The view seen from there is breath-taking. We descend downhill through narrow path with rocky terrain to reach the settlement of Ghopte. Overnight stay at Ghopte.
Day 7 Day 07: Trek from Ghopte to Kutumsang (2446m) |7 Hours
We leave Ghopte for Kutumsang. The trail traverses past the viewpoints of Himalayas, camping grounds before reaching the base of Thadepati pass. After climbing the Thadepati Pass (3690m), we descend along the forest of fir and rhododendron, small settlements observing the view of mountains including Dorje-Lakpa range on its way to Kutumsang. Overnight stay at Kutumsang.
Day 8 Day 08: Trek to Chisopani (2194m) | 3-4 hrs
Today, we resume our trek by descending towards the pleasant hill village of Gul Bhanjyang. After then, the trail ascends until we reach Thodang Betini. We then continue to trek down through some Brahmins and Chhetri villages to reach Pati Bhanjyang. Then, the trail continues to Chisapani. The trekking experience is pleasant with mesmerizing landscapes and the local wildlife keeping company throughout the journey. Overnight stay at Chisapani.
Day 9 Day 09: Trek to Sundarijal (1463m), and drive back to Kathmandu – approx. 3 hrs
Descending through the forest of oak and rhododendron which falls under Shivapuri-Nagarjun National park, we reach Borlang Bhanjyang. After then, we trek down to Mulkharka from where we see the eye-catching view of Kathmandu valley. Then, we descend through the forest to reach Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, we take a drive towards Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 10 Day 10: Departure to International Airport.
Last day after the fantastic time in once-is-not-enough-Nepal, we will transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final flight back.
