Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m).

    Welcome to Nepal! On reaching Tribhuvan International Airport, we will be there to receive you. A short drive after arriving at the airport will take you the hotel. After checking-in and getting refreshed, our guide will brief you about the overall trip. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Drive to Pokhara (820m) by Tourist bus. 7 hours' drive (Option: private transport or domestic flight).

    We take an early morning drive towards Pokhara. This refreshing drive traverses through the scenicviews of Trishuli, Marsayangdi River, and the teasing Himalayan ranges. There is also an option of domestic flight to reach Pokhara. The flight duration is around 30 minutes during which we can enjoy the scenic view of Himalayas and Nepali landscapes. Pokhara, the lake-city of Nepal is a perfect getaway to relax and commence adventures in the Annapurna region.Overnight stay at a hotel in Chhomrong.

  • Day 3 Drive to Siuli by bus and trek to Chhomrong (2,170m). 2 hours' drive and 5 hours walk.

    After having breakfast, we drive to Siuli which takes about 2 hours and then we start the trek. We pass many through many local villages understanding the tradition, culture and lifestyle of local residents to reach Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a small village located on the lap of gigantic Annapurna.It is lined with tea houses and several shops. Overnight stay at Chhomrong.

  • Day 4 Trek to Bamboo (2,310m).6 hours walk.

    Today, we leave Chhomrong for Bamboo. We descend through stone steps to reach Chhomrong Khola. After crossing the bridge, we climb an uphill trailto reach Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest of bamboo and rhododendron to Kuldighar. During the trek, we can hear the pleasant sound of Modi Khola flowing alongside. After then, it is an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight stay at Bamboo.

  • Day 5 Trek to Deurali (3,230m).5 hours walk.

    LeavingBamboo village, as the name suggests, we pass through bamboo forest. After reaching Hotel Himalaya,the view of glacial river below is astonishing. Heading further up, we get to see the famous Hinku cave. Next, it is an uphill climb during which the vegetation becomes sparser and the view of valley and river areeven more wondrous. Overnight stay at Deurali.

  • Day 6 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m). 4/5 hours walk.

    We head towards our ultimate destination .i.e. Annapurna Base Camp today from Deurali via Machhapuchhre Base Camp. From Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we relish the exquisite view of magnificent Machhapuchhre (6,997m) along with Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna III (7,525m), GandharwaChuli (6,248m), and Gangapurna (7,454m). Entering the Annapurna Sanctuary, we savor the awe-inspiring view of the south-face of mighty Annapurna (8,091m). From the base camp, we again get to relish the elegant views of Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), and other peaks. Overnight stay at Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 7 Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,310m). 6 hours walk.

    Today is perhaps the longest day of the trek. From the Annapurna Base Camp, we retrieve downhill crossing Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, and Dovan to reach Bamboo. Today’s trek consists of steep descent of long stretches with some short ascents sprinkled in between. Besides, there is always companionship of extravagant landscapes to cheer us up. Overnight stay at Bamboo.

  • Day 8 Bamboo to JhinuDanda (1,760m).6 hours walk.

    From Bamboo, we walk uphill to reach Kuldighar followed by downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola.Next, we climb the steps to reach Chhomrong. The trail then descends to JhinuDanda following the ever-present Modi River. We can enjoy the hot springs which is just 15-20 minutes downhill walk from JhinuDanda. These hot springs are said to have healing properties and provide relief to our trek-lagged bodies.Overnight stay at JhinuDanda.

  • Day 9 Trek to Siuli and drive back to Pokhara (820m). 5 hours walk and 2.30 hours' drive.

    On our way back to Siuli, we can envision the picture of hilly region of western Nepal from the views of amazing hill landscapes seen. We have lunch on the way. We end up our trek at Siuli where we hop on the vehicle returning back to Pokhara. In Pokhara, we can enjoy a boat ride in the Phewa Lake or relish the lively Lakeside area. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 10 Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m) by Tourist Bus. 7 hours’ drive (Option: private transport or domestic flight).

    Today, we take ride back to Kathmandu. We cherish the scenic view of river, rice fields and Himalayan ranges on the way back. There is also provision of domestic flight for returning back to Kathmandu. We can catch great view of Himalayans and landscapes throughout the entire flight. You can shop souvenirs and make preparations for the flight to your destination in Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 11 Transfer to Airport for final departure.
